MAKING A CONTRACT WITH US

In placing an order for any of the items on our website you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed below. Please read these terms carefully and print and keep a copy of them for your reference. The information and conditions shown on our websites do not affect your statutory rights. Artigiano and Spirito di Artigiano are trading names of Scala Collections Ltd, Registered in England No. 1794834. Total liability for any claim against Scala Collections Ltd, howsoever arising, shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by Scala Collections Ltd to the customer.

English law applies to all orders placed on this website, and any disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales.

When you place an order online with us you are making an offer to buy our goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order request. Once we have verified the price and availability of the goods we will email you again to confirm that your goods have been despatched to you which signifies that a contract has been made between us and that we will charge your credit/debit card for the relevant amount in respect of the despatched goods.

A customer's credit or debit card will not be charged for an item until it is despatched by us, where appropriate this will include a non-refundable charge for postage & packing.

Every effort is made to ensure that our estimated delivery times are met; however occasionally delays in delivery due to unforeseen factors are inevitable. Scala Collections Ltd shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to deliver goods within our estimated delivery times.

In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, we may supply you with substitute goods. If you decide not to accept the substitute goods, you will not have to pay to return them to us.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

The Artigiano and Spirito di Artigiano collections are mainly designed, styled and sourced in Italy using predominantly Italian materials. Particular items may be manufactured in other countries due to production constraints.

All product prices are shown in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of postage and packing charges, unless otherwise specified. All product prices advertised on this website are correct at the time of order only and relate to internet purchases only. Scala Collections Ltd will only accept orders if there are no errors in the prices of the products ordered as advertised on this website. Scala Collections Ltd reserves the right to change prices at any time.

PRODUCT RETURN & EXCHANGE

You are entitled to return goods for refund within 14 days of delivery of those goods and this will be construed as the cancellation of your order or part of your order. You will be responsible for the return of goods upon cancellation of your order. Within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods by our warehouse a full refund of the purchase price of the item will be issued by the same payment method as that used to originally pay for the goods.

If goods on which a discount/offer was originally received are returned, that discount/offer may no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold.

If a returned item was bought as a gift, only the original payer can be refunded. If you require an exchange on a gift item we cannot prevent the payer from knowing.

If goods returned were originally purchased with a credit note or gift voucher, we can only offer a credit to your Artigiano account as reimbursement.

In an exchange, if the new item costs less we will reimburse you with the difference. If the new item costs more additional payment will be required. There will be no second postage & packing charge for despatch of exchanged goods.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers are redeemable through the purchase of items at our retail outlets, via phone or post orders; for post orders please enclose the gift voucher with your order form.

Gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash.

If the sum of the goods purchased exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card or by cheque.

If the sum of the goods purchased via a post order is less than the value of the gift voucher, any balance will remain as a credit on your Artigiano account and will be redeemed against subsequent orders.

If you have to return goods purchased using gift vouchers, the value of the goods returned will be credited to your Artigiano account and will be redeemed against subsequent orders.

Gift vouchers are void if they have been in any way tampered with or defaced.

Gift vouchers can only be purchased at face value.

Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue.
